Surf House
ACCOMMODATION
Modern and comfortable villa-style tourist accommodation fully equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. It has several terraces, garden, lounge and bathrooms.
Our SURF HOUSE is located in the centre of Zarautz, just a few minutes walk from the old town and the beach. It has three floors. On the ground floor you will find a spacious living room with poufs and sofa, interactive TV, Netflix and WIFI. There is also a garden with tables, chairs and sun loungers.
The spacious rooms, all of them with balcony or terrace, are located on the first and first floors. We have rooms for 4 and 6 people, all with shared bathrooms. They are fully equipped with bed linen and towels so it is not necessary to bring a sleeping bag. The Surf House has a chill out terrace on the top floor, ideal for relaxing after an intense surf session.

MEALS
Full and nutritious breakfast in the morning, with juice, milk of all kinds, cereals, coffee, tea, cocoa and cola cao, ham or turkey, cheese, fruit, pastries, toast with butter and jam, honey and Nutella, dried fruit, etc. All this at your disposal in a self-service style table with everything you need to start the day with energy.
Meals in our partner restaurants where you can choose your dishes from a wide and varied menu. Meals are a full menu of two courses, drink and dessert, where chicken, turkey, meat (beef or pork) or fish will never be missing. Meatballs, hamburgers, escalope, San Jacobos, etc. Always accompanied by pasta, rice, salads, scrambled eggs, omelettes or chips. There are also stews and soups.
We have vegan and vegetarian menus and menus for different intolerances (gluten, lactose, nuts, etc.) or special diets. Ask us about it and we will prepare it especially for you.

SURF
You will have surf lessons every day with our team of qualified instructors and coordinators to make your learning experience fun and safe. Lessons take place in our surf school, which is located right on the beach at the Malecón in Zarautz. The school has all the necessary facilities for your comfort (showers, changing rooms, lockers, etc.). You will also have at your disposal the best equipment for the practice and learning of surfing, already included in the pack. Soft Boards, fibre or Epoxy boards (according to evolution) and XCEL and NEXT wetsuits (2mm, 3mm and 4mm wetsuits, according to season and water temperature). We have the largest stock and inventory of surfboards and surf equipment in general.
The surf course will be adapted to the progress of each student during their stay. We will look for the evolution of your learning. To do this we will give daily classes that in the beginning will have a theoretical part with basic knowledge of the movements and standing up. Theoretical surfing workshop:
Where you will learn all about surfing. History, safety rules, wave formation, etc. You will also learn how to interpret the parts and wave forecasts so that you will never miss a good surfing session again.
Slack line and jumps into the water:
A fun activity where you will test your coordination and balance by walking on a tightrope. Your most intrepid side will come out, making high jumps into the splashing water.
Paddle surf SUP:
You will have super Paddle Surf boards at your disposal to go sailing and if you feel like it, you can go on a short trip across the sea. You can do it alone or sharing the board which is always more fun.
Surf Skate:
We combine two sports, surfing and skateboarding to improve your skills and coordination of movements to improve your technique. The transfer is brutal and you will notice a big improvement every time you catch a wave. Or simply to take a stroll along the Zarautz boardwalk at the rhythm of your legs.
Ping Pong:
If you’re good at the table, no one can take the crown away from you. Fun games of table tennis where you can challenge even our best instructor… Look how good he is…
Surf shape workshop:
We will visit one of the most famous surfboard factories in Zarautz. During the visit you will have the chance to see how a surfboard is made from scratch. The different processes, from manual shaping, to sanding and glazing, etc. You will learn about the main materials used to make a surfboard, the traditional techniques and the most modern ones with technology applied to surfing.
Yoga:
After intense surfing sessions, it’s always a good idea to stretch and relax. You’ll enjoy some very challenging yoga classes in a unique environment that will get you hooked on this discipline.
Pilates:
We delve into postural control and breathing. A different way of getting to know and learn about our body.

Specific information for junior camp
The entire surf camp dynamic is adjusted and designed to meet the needs and concerns of 13-17 year olds.
The surf lessons and activities are oriented to the dynamization of the age groups and the social interaction between them. It is an excellent recreational and sporting activity with a high content of interpersonal interaction where they learn not only to surf, but also to improve their relationship with the natural environment and coexistence with other people of their age.
Our priority is the safety of the students. That is why our surf camp complies with the current regulations for surf schools and surf camps of the Basque Government and the Patronato de Deportes. We have a qualified professional team who supervise and supervise the students 24 hours a day, during the surf lessons, complementary activities and free time.

As a second accommodation option, our Surf Hostel. Recently renovated cosy accommodation with spacious rooms all exterior and different common areas and an outdoor terrace with a covered area and another outdoor area with poufs and sun loungers to relax after surf lessons.
Extra info for parents
MONITORS AND COORDINATORS
The groups are under 24 hour supervision. During the surf lessons they are under the supervision of our team of qualified surf instructors, professionals with qualifications approved by the Spanish Surfing Federation and the Consejo Superior de Deportes.
Outside of surf lessons, during the scheduled activities and during break time, they are under the supervision of the team of coordinators and free time monitors. The supervision is under the ratio of 6 students per instructor in the surf lessons and 10 students per instructor in the rest of the time and activities.
We do not offer or carry out night outings or parties with the groups of minors. The curfew for the accommodation is 23:00 hours. This can change if there are any evening plans under the supervision of the coordinators. These may include going out for an ice-cream, watching a concert or recreational event, going out on skates on the promenade or others.
SCHEDULES (arrival and departure).
The camp starts on Monday. The recommended start time is from 11:00 to 14:00 hours, taking into account that at 14:30 the first meal and presentation will take place. The first class is on the same Monday at 17:00 hours and the welcome BBQ is scheduled for the evening at 21:00 hours.
Sunday is the departure day. The check out and departure time is until 14:00 hours. On the last day you will have breakfast in the morning. At noon is the farewell with delivery and viewing of the photos of the week.
COVERAGE
Each student is subscribed to a comprehensive individual insurance for the duration of the surf camp. In addition to accident and travel insurance, the student is covered by our liability insurance for the activity. We have the assistance and coverage of the Red Cross as a surf school approved by the Patronato de Deportes, the Spanish and Basque Surfing Federation and the Consejo Superior de Deportes.
In short, each student is fully covered during their stay with us. Insurance included in the price of the pack.
TRANSFERS
We have a transfer service to bus stations, train stations and nearby airports. In order to schedule these services it is necessary to confirm them in advance. Due to regulatory restrictions long distance transfers (+100 km) can only be done by transport companies. In order to schedule the pick-up, a copy of the ticket with the departure and arrival time must be sent to us by e-mail together with a copy of the reservation. Transfer service not included in the package price. The transfer service has an additional cost and this varies depending on the routes and stations where it takes place. Please consult with us for available transfer options.
PAYMENT METHODS
We offer three secure payment methods on our web platform: Credit card, PayPal and bank transfer. The payment of the pack is made in two instalments, the first at the time of booking and registration and the second payment 10 days before the start date of the camp.
